What is the “Lyme Body”? Three Themes Every Lyme Patient Can Relate To
This presentation will provide a well-researched and unique perspective into the phenomena that comes with suffering from lyme disease. Upon studying five lyme disease sufferers in the Pacific Northwest for six months in 2015, I concluded that three primary themes exist about who and what the “lyme body” is: time, sacrificial bonds, and something I call the ‘philosophy of the weird.’
